Since 1928, Woodrow has taken pride in a rich athletic tradition and the legacy we continue to build every season.
As the only public high school with two Heisman winners, Davey O’Brien and Tim Brown, we’re known as the
“High School Home of the Heisman.”
Our field, named after legendary coach Herschel Forester and his sons, stands as a tribute to the generations of Wildcats who’ve made their mark

The Woodrow Athletic Booster Club is here to rally behind our student-athletes, coaches, trainers, and athletic programs with Wildcat pride!
We help fuel the teams by raising funds for equipment, player meals, uniforms, facility upgrades, and everything in between.
Our biggest fundraising events, the Annual Tim Brown Golf Tournament and Woodrow Royale Casino Night, bring the community together in a big way to support our athletes.
