2024 will be the Inaugural Heisman High Invitational track meet.
From a program and school that has a rich history of success and tradition, the vision of this track meet is to begin our track season with a high quality meet to set the tone of the competitive outdoor track season
The Heisman High Invitational is hosted at the Forester Athletic Complex located at 8233 Military Parkway, Dallas, Texas
This Athletic Complex is named in honor of Herschel Forester, who worked at Woodrow Wilson High School from it’s inception through the 1950’s.
Hosting at a complex with such great Woodrow ties flows into the purpose of this meet- to continue to give our Woodrow Wilson Wildcats opportunities to build upon the legacy
Audrey Cole is a 1986 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.
As a Woodrow Wilson Wildcat Audrey was a 4 time State Champion- once in Cross Country (Fall 1985), and three times in Track- the 3200m (1985 & 1986), and the 1600m (1985)
The 3200m Run at the Heisman High Invitational is named after Audrey, to commemorate the incredible performances she had whole at Woodrow
